THANK U for your holding JESIN right now in your hands !
HOW TO POUR "JESIN"?
JESIN is a great pouring medium and I am so happy, that u wanna know more about. By scrolling down, I will show u step by step how to do. Enjoy !
mixing ratio by weight
U just need 2 part of the power and 1 part of the liquid by weight. For Example mixing 300 gr of JESIN: 200 gr powder + 100 gr liquid
My tip: first add the liquid in the measuring cup, then add the powder! this makes it much easier to get a very smooth and lump free JESIN.
With JESIN u have approximately 20 min working time until it starts to cure. So enough time to mix your colors in or pour larger amounts. There is no rush!
until u can demold it
After 20 min curing time in the mold, u can unfold your beautiful JESIN creations. But please give it 24 hours to cure completely, so all moisture is gone and it reached its final hardness.
COLOR YOUR JESIN WITH
These fancy LIQU-MENTS are especially developed and made for coloring the JESIN. They are easy to dose ( dosage cup) and so highly pigmented, that they just make your JESIN creations more pop! Please add not more then 5% of the LIQU-MENTS to your JESIN amount.

GOOD TO KNOW !
Here u can find our answers too the most popular questions of the stundents first time using JESIN:
How do I know how much JESIN fits in my mold?
Take your silicone mold u wanna pour JESIN in, and fill it completely with water. This water amount - f.e. 150 ml (or grams because it is the same in the case of water) just double up, so it is 300 ml. This is exact the amount of JESIN u need in total to cast your mold.
Because mixing ratio of JESIN is 2:1, just divide it into 3.
300 / 3 = 100
so u need 2 x 100 for the powder = 200 gr
and 1 x 100 for the liquid = 100 gr
It is so simple ! :)
Can I sand JESIN?
Of course u can! In some cases u definitely have to, f.e. if u are doing TERRAZZO or if there are any overlappings. Just use a sanding paper ( for a wet sanding purpose) and sand it. Please keep in mind u always have to sand JESIN wet.
How to seal JESIN?
To protect your JESIN creations from water or dirt, it is necessary to seal it. There are many options for sealing JESIN, f.e. with foodsafe beeswaxs. Or with the JESIN SEALER itself. Please keep in mind, that the JESIN SEALER is not foodsafe.
We recommend for best results that two or up to three coats of JESIN® MATTE SEALER should be applied onto JESIN®.
The first coat can be diluted up to 30% with water. Diluting the first coat will aid the chemical bonding process and the second coat should be applied once the initial diluted coat is touch dry. Do not allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat.
The JESIN® MATTE SEALER goes a long way, therefore small quantities can cover large areas. So we recommend the application of several thin layers is preferable to one thick coat.
